Synopsis

It is the era of the Taisho dynasty in Japan. Tanjiro, a kind-hearted boy who sells charcoal to make a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon, while his younger sister Nezuko, the only survivor, has herself been transformed into a demon.

Although shattered by this grim reality, Tanjiro decides to become a “demon slayer” so that his sister can become human again and, at the same time, to kill the demon who slaughtered his family.
